Current Openings Include: Senior Accountant Summary of Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of diversified accounting and tax assignments under the supervision of different partners and senior accountants.
Essential Functions • Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances and simple financial statements using computer software. • Reconcile accounts to control accounts. • Perform scheduled computations of accruals, property and equipment, and calculate depreciation expense. • Perform audits or review procedures as requested. • Prepare payroll tax, sales or other business tax and personal income returns. • Assist in proofing financial statements, tax returns and other documents. • Perform other accounting, auditing and tax duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by Partners. Education, Experience, and Skills Required • Accounting degree and three or more years of expereince required. • Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and personal income tax. • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and other staff. • Ability to work both independently and with a team. • Flexible, team player. • Maintain strict confidentiality.
